How it Works

After I get your enquiry I will contact you (usually the next working day) to arrange a convenient time (subject to availability) for an initial FREE 20-minute telephone or zoom conversation. I will talk you through the counselling process and ask you questions to gain insight into the issues you are facing. It is also a great opportunity for you to ask me any questions or raise any concerns. The chemistry must be right between you and any counsellor you choose to work with. If you want to work collaboratively with me, and I feel I can help you, we can book your Initial Consultation. I offer short to medium and long-term counselling.

In Person Counselling Sessions

Face-to-face sessions are held in person at my consultation room in Basingstoke in Hampshire. The building has a lift and my room is wheelchair accessible. It is a modern and comfortable space with refreshments available. Free Visitor parking is available giving easy access from Reading, Fleet, Farnham, Alton, Berkshire and Surrey.

Online Counselling Sessions

Online sessions are a highly effective and convenient way of undergoing counselling from the comfort of your own home.

Sessions are usually at the same time and day every week which guarantees my availability to you at this regular time.

At the end of every appointment, we confirm the following session, and I email you the link to our online therapy room.

Hours of Availability

Monday: 9.00am - 4.00pm

Tuesday: 9.00pm - 4.00pm

Wednesday: 9.00am - 4.00pm

Thursday: 9.00am - 4.00pm

Friday: 9.00am - 4.00pm

Please note the final session starts at 3.00pm

First Session

Your first session is a more detailed in-depth consultation, which lasts up to 1 hour 10 minutes (longer than the standard 50-minute session) and costs £80. This is the beginning of our work together, so there is some information gathering in this session to give me an overall bigger picture. We also consider your needs and establish an initial time frame to work together and identify any therapeutic goals, which are reviewed as an ongoing process.

Ongoing Sessions

Length: Regular sessions last up to 50 minutes.

Individual online, telephone & in person counselling costs: £65.00 per 50 minute session.

Payment: Please pay for your session 24 hours in advance via bank transfer.

Cancellation: Please allow 48 hours notice to cancel booked sessions or if you can't attend you are charged the standard fee.
